Volvo reports an exceptionally successful 2025 with a historical record of 478 sales in Bulgaria and 27% growth compared to the previous year. The achieved results reflect both the brand's steady growth and the increasing demand for electrified and sustainable models among Bulgarian customers.
In 2025, 65% of all Volvo sales in Bulgaria were electrified - electric or plug-in models, clearly demonstrating the brand's strategic transformation toward an electric future.
The EX30 is the best-selling premium electric car in 2025 as well, after being the most preferred premium electric car in 2024.
The premium electric flagship EX90 continued to impress both the Bulgarian and international markets in 2025. The model was honored as Premium Car of the Year in Bulgaria by Press Auto Club Bulgaria, received the Best Luxury Car of 2025 award from Car Life by Dani, and on the global stage earned the title of World Luxury Car of the Year from the World Car Awards, solidifying Volvo's position among the leading manufacturers of electric and software-defined premium vehicles.
Looking ahead to 2026, expectations are high.
One of the biggest premieres will be that of the EX60 - an all-new electric model expected to set standards in premium electric mobility with cell-to-body technology, megacasting, and computing power:
- Electric range
- Charging speed
- User-vehicle communication
The premiere of the newest class of electric premium vehicles will be on January 21st.
