We all know that education drives progress. But not everyone can afford an education.
#steniskanabala exists to help orphans or semi-orphans continue theirs. This year, you take center stage in the initiative. There is room for everyone – for current, future, and former graduates, for large international companies, and for small, everyday heroes.
Goodness depends on everyone and can be put on display.
The charitable initiative #steniskanabala, which supports freshman students without parents, has turned 12 and is marking a symbolic anniversary season with a radical idea – to give everyone the chance to have fun by personalizing their own #steniskanabala while doing good – giving a young person a chance at a future through higher education.
This year, the campaign is built on the opportunity for everyone to create their own version of the T-shirt through the cause's website steniskanabala.bg – every student, every teacher, every influencer, or business. The goal of the organizers from Moto-Pfohe, in partnership with DHL Express Bulgaria and BRC-Sofia, is to remind people of the meaning behind the cause: more students and parents with a personalized #steniska means more higher education scholarships for young people without a parent. Even if they just wear their T-shirt to their graduation send-off, the beach, or the park.
This year, the organizers' focus is on regaining the interest of 12th-grade students finishing school in the great good they can do with little effort, all while having fun – for someone almost like them, someone with whom they share a schoolyard and ambition, a dream, and the will for a better future through education. An entire graduating class from the "Paisii Hilendarski" Sofia High School of Mathematics has already joined the campaign, as well as students from the "Ivan Vazov" school in Varshets, serving as an example for students, parents, and society as a whole. They will be joined by many of Bulgaria's famous faces popular among young people, acting as role models for the generations that follow. Links to T-shirts with their designs will be shared on their social channels for their fans and can be purchased directly from the #steniskanabala website. You will find out who is supporting the cause by following the website and social media with the hashtag #steniska.

The active period of the campaign starts at the end of March, with students, athletes, popular personalities, and companies gradually joining in. Its official closing will be in October, at the beginning of the university academic year.
Every year, #steniskanabala touches donors – from everyday heroes who simply visit the site and buy a T-shirt to large corporate donors. Thanks to them, the past year, 2024, was a record-breaking success for the cause – the donated amount of over 107,000 BGN reached 33 freshmen and 8 top-achieving students. To date, the total donated amount exceeds 710,000 BGN, providing over 330 scholarships for freshmen and honor students.
The website is already live and accepting orders, and soon influencer versions, alongside current options for hobbies, names, food, and classes, will be available for direct order from steniskanabala.bg. Follow the campaign on social media and order your personalized #steniska from steniskanabala.bg
