Volvo Cars starts production of the EX90 – the electric SUV opening a new chapter in the company's history.

On June 5, at the Volvo Cars plant in Charleston, South Carolina, production of the new Volvo EX90 officially launched.

On June 5, production of the new Volvo EX90 officially launched at the Volvo Cars plant in Charleston, South Carolina. Volvo's flagship not only expands its strong electric portfolio but also opens a new chapter in the company's history. This is the first Volvo car powered by advanced core computing technology.

Born Electric and Revolutionary

The EX90 is based on Volvo's next-generation electric platform and provides up to 600 km of range. It is designed to be the safest Volvo ever created. It is equipped with the latest generation of passive and active safety technologies and innovative software featuring a whole suite of sensors.

 

Following the Scandinavian design philosophy, the new electric Volvo offers modern proportions for optimal safety, aesthetics, and efficiency. Thanks to its 7-seater version, it is the perfect companion for the whole family – generous in space, functionality, and comfort.

The first deliveries are scheduled for the second half of the year.
